Salondampfer Hansa in Bremerhaven

Food on the ship Ate at the Salondamfer Hansa by chance and were not disappointed. Since the shop window of the fishing port looks a bit artificial, we were happy to have found the ship. In a nice atmosphere there was delicious fish, which was served by friendly service. In summer it is certainly very nice to take a seat outside I only found the range of souvenirs a bit strange.

You can eat well here.

The plaice was great! The salad starter is also really delicious, absolutely flawless traditional and yet innovative cuisine! It was the only fish restaurant that was still open late on Sunday evening, that was our salvation! Although we were so late, we were served in a super friendly manner! Thank you very much, keep it up!

The food here was somewhat disappointing. Fast delivery but steak was not the medium I ordered. The braatkartoffeln were good. My partner had rosti as a starter but that was more onion and salad than rosti. Staff friendliness was a bit disappointing. Inside the restaurant this was better.

On a Sunday we ordered a fried fish platter for 2 people at an unbeatable price of € 20. Lots of fish and vegetables with delicious fried potatoes, everything tasted very good. We found out later that the offer is always available when there is a market in the fishing port, every 14 days.

Almost the only restaurant that still had hot food after 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. Very very tasty, super nice service and a view of the sunset. Clear recommendation!

First visit to Corona The staff put a lot of effort into it! Tables that could not be occupied were not simply locked, but very nicely decorated with maritime items that can also be bought. At the entrance an automatic disinfection dispenser that really worked. Very friendly and attentive staff with a face mask. The card was reduced, but there was something for everyone. It tasted excellent and the food was worth the price. We felt very comfortable and can really recommend the salon steamer with its unique ambience. A nice piece of Bremerhaven. We will definitely come back on the next visit! Oh by the way, the helmsman's Pils was absolutely great !!

Solid Northern German fare, mainly fish as well as some regional specialities, hosted aboard an old steam boat. A good place for a slightly formal or posh occasion! The fish is very fresh and the portions generous, at reasonable prices. My personal favorite is the “Plaice Finkenwerder Style“ - a very tender fish served whole with German fries, Krabben (tiny North Sea shrimp) and a salad. I liked the salad bar a lot: a good selection of different and seasonable vegetables, all very fresh. The restaurant also has a good selection of different types of beer as well as red and white wines. The restaurant is next to the Schaufenster Fischereihafen area which features several shops and restaurants and is a nice place for a short stroll.

For breakfast there were rolls up, there were bakers on Saturday, and too little butter, and there was only one service, this was a very nice eager Trainee, and the coffee was cold when the breakfast came ....

Rude staff. We waited for the food for more then 1hr. The steak was good though.

well-kept ambience, attentive service, friendly staff and a great kitchen. Not quite cheap but worth the price. We will test the resilience in May with a group of 20 people.
